Sick Leave Management provides you with a dedicated company doctor for the assessment of your employees fitness for work also known as “first day control”. The team of experts at Medwork is here to assist you with knowledge, experience and vision. We understand the troubles you might face while trying to run your business and are ready to offer solutions that work for you.

 

Reintegration Services

 

The occupational health advisor considers the possibilities for return to work of your ill employee. For instance by making adjustments in the workplace or looking for other work in or outside your organization. The employment expert's objective is always to prevent long-term absence and facilitate a quick and responsible return to work.

 

Policy & Procedure Management

 

Our approach will reduce your absenteeism numbers, without compromising the labor relationship between the employer and employee. Procedures are key! Having clear policies and procedures regarding work absence, helps employees know who to contact, how contact should be made (for example, whether text messaging, emailing or calling is appropriate) and when notification of absence must be made. Absenteeism procedures and working agreements provide a clear understanding to all parties about what the absentees’ rights and responsibilities are. Fairness and consistency are important.

 
 

Medwork offers three COVID testing services:

  1. Non-travel COVID testing for US$30 (antigen)

  2. Travel COVID testing for US$50 (antigen)

  3. Employer-based COVID testing

Insurance Medicine, is about the capability of an employee to perform his or her contractual work and specializes in determining long term physical and mental limitation of employees. In addition, insurance doctors shall be employed to assess the extent to which insured persons are entitled to benefits on the basis of private occupational disability insurance after long-term or permanent work outages. If applicable a remaining capacity will be indicated and advice on suitable or appropriate work will be given. Our aim is to reach a win-win situation for employees and employer.

 

Labor Expert

 

A Labor Expert determines the employment opportunities and employability of an incapacitated employee (a sick employee, for example). The Labor Expert looks and determines whether the employee can eventually return to their own work or whether another position within or outside the current organization must be sought. The Labor Expert assesses and determines how the employee recovers best sustainably. In their assessment they will talk to the employer, the employee, and possibly visit the workplace. Their evaluation will give the employer a quick insight into the possibilities for their employee to return to work.

 

Occupational Psychology

 

For mental health and well-being, our Occupational Health Psychology services explore interventions targeting employees as well as work environments, to create healthier employees, workplaces, and organizations, while protecting employee’s health and maximizing their overall effectiveness.

 
 

In order to customize our services, we offer a wide array of medical evaluations, including the following exams:

  • Pre-employment exams

  • Preventive medical exams

  • Fitness for work exams

  • Permanent impairment ratings (in percentage)

Reintegration Coaching

 

Reintegration Counseling is a value-added service that assists employees in their return to work after long term absenteeism. A Reintegration Coach monitors the process, is a counselor and confidant for the employee, and a link between employer and employee. The ultimate goal is always to return to the workplace with full functionality and minimal risk of relapse. In the long run, this outcome is mutually beneficial for both employer and employee.

 

Corporate Social Worker

 

Our corporate social worker will support you in solving bottlenecks arising from work-related situations and/or from the private situation. This may include disrupted employment relationships, reorganizations, major events or personal problems that affect work. The added value of corporate social work lies in the activation of employees with the aim of increasing the motivation and employability of employees.

Employer Based COVID Testing

 

Medwork has combined its expertise in Occupational Health, Public Health and COVID Testing to bring COVID testing directly to your workplace! Medwork will assist with implementation of policies and procedures, comprehensive staff training, and managing logistics for sourcing and ordering testing supplies that provide reliable, accurate test results. Once the program is initiated, Medwork remains available to advise, troubleshoot and answer any questions you may have.
