Why is a company doctor necessary?

To support HR managers and advise about absenteeism and sick leave according to medical guidelines and local legislation.

What is the difference between a company doctor and a house doctor?

The company doctor only determines your fitness for work. Your house doctor or GP continues to act as your treating physician.

How does the company doctor determine the employee’s fitness for work?

The company doctor identifies illness and injury, and we consider all variables of worker’s health.

What if my organization only needs a one-time service or assessment?

Medwork offers tailor-made proposals and programs that suit your organizational needs. We offer an array of one-time assessments and can advise on the suitability of the workplace in one visit as well. We develop a proposal and only begin our work when your organization has agreed to the services offered.

How do Medwork’s services benefit the employer and employee simultaneously?

Our doctors and experts help keep the workplace healthy and safe by advising the employer in general and the employee in person. We encourage the health benefits of work, while considering all variables affecting worker’s health on the job. Through the implementation of our procedures, we become a part of the company’s internal policies. Together we ensure a win-win for employer and employee.

As an employee is my information kept confidential?

Employee’s medical information always remains private and confidential. We only advise the employer on the employee’s fitness for work and functional limitations. We also advise on how the workplace can be improved so the employee can maintain their employability.

How can the employee be assured that Medwork will help alleviate their situation?

Do your best to follow company policy and procedure and we will do our best for you.
